According to the report from Italy, "Low ankle-brachial index (ABI) levels are associated with increased risk of all-cause and cardiovascular mortality in middle-aged and older adults. We evaluated the association between low ABI and all-cause and cardiovascular mortality in elderly patients living in nursing homes."
