Angiotech Pharmaceuticals posts revenues of $86.3 million

Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (ANPI, ANP) a global specialty pharmaceutical and medical device company, announced financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2006.

During the third quarter, Angiotech discontinued certain operations as part of the ongoing integration efforts related to the acquisition of American Medical Instruments Holdings, Inc., (AMI) completed in March 2006. Total revenue generated by these discontinued operations amounted to $2.9 million during the third quarter.
