New findings from G. D'Annunzio University, Department of Biomedical Sciences in the area of asthma prevention published

New research, "Antioxidant vitamin supplementation in asthma," is the subject of a report. "The influence of nutrition on chronic bronchial asthma has an important place in the management of this disease. Evidence suggests that specific inflammatory abnormalities exist in the airways of subjects suffering from mild-to-moderate persistent asthma, in whom an inflammatory state is often associated with increased generation of reactive oxygen species and the damaging effects of free radicals," scientists in Chieti, Italy report.
