Research from Nanjing Medical University, Institute of Toxicology yields new data on toxicology

New investigation results, "Study on the mechanism of trichlorfon-induced inhibition of progesterone synthesis in mouse leydig tumor cells (MLTC-1)," are detailed in a study published in Toxicology. According to a study from Nanjing, People's Republic of China, "Trichlorfon, a widely used organophosphorus pesticide, has been reported to disrupt reproductive function in humans. However, the mechanisms have not been clearly elucidated."
