University of Pennsylvania reports research in psychosis

Current study results from the report, "The efficacy and safety of risperidone in the treatment of psychosis of Alzheimer's disease and mixed dementia: a meta-analysis of 4 placebo-controlled clinical trials," have been published. "Dementia typically includes behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) as well as cognitive decline. Psychosis of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a specific component of AD, characterized by delusions, misidentifications, and hallucinations," scientists writing in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry report.
