Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTI) Announces Filing of a Universal Shelf Registration

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTI) (Nasdaq and MTAX: CTIC) announced that it has filed a universal shelf registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, registering $150 million worth of securities to be offered and sold by CTI from time to time. The number and price of the securities will be determined at the time the securities are sold.

A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
