Research conducted at Beaumount Hospital, Department of Neurology has provided new information about seizure prevention

Fresh data on seizure are presented in the report "Outcome measurement after vagal nerve stimulation therapy: proposal of a new classification." According to a study from Dublin, Ireland, "Vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) is an adjunctive palliative therapy for refractory epilepsy.
