Enzo Biochem Reports Third Quarter Results

Enzo Biochem, Inc. (NYSE:ENZ), a leading biotechnology company specializing in gene identification and genetic and immune regulation technologies for diagnostic and therapeutic applications, announced results for its third fiscal quarter and nine months ended April 30, 2007. Revenues for the quarter advanced 45%, to $14.0 million, compared with $9.6 million in the year-earlier period. The gain reflected a 49% increase in Clinical Lab revenues, principally resulting from a recently enhanced provider agreement. Gross profit for the quarter was $7.9 million, compared with $5.7 million in the year-ago period, an increase of 39%. The net loss for the period was $3.8 million,...
