MichBio Announces New Board Leadership

MichBio, Michigan's life sciences industry association announced that the Board of Directors, at its May meeting, elected a new slate of officers for the 2007-2008 term. Randal Charlton has retired from its Board after serving as Chairman since 2004. Charlton is the Interim Director of Detroit's TechTown research and technology park, which is also one of Michigan's 12 SmartZones. He recently retired as Chairman and CEO of Asterand, the Detroit-based human tissue bank that provides research material to drug discovery companies.
