Current study results from the report, "Long-term effects of botulinum toxin on neuromuscular function," have been published. According to recent research published in the journal Anesthesiology, "Recent reports indicate increased incidence of Clostridium botulinum infections, particularly among drug abusers and tissue allograft recipients.
