Research results from St. Antonius Hospital, Department of Vascular Surgery update understanding of aneurysm therapy

A new study, "Surgical and endovascular treatment of atherosclerotic popliteal artery aneurysms," is now available. According to a study from Nieuwegein, Netherlands, "Popliteal artery aneurysms are the most common peripheral aneurysms. Patients with unrecognized aneurysms may present with acute limb ischemia and considerable threat for limb loss due to thromboembolic complications."
