Research on breast cancer published by C. Nistico et al

According to recent research published in the journal Anti - Cancer Drugs, "We conducted a phase II study to determine the activity and tolerability of weekly epirubicin-paclitaxel and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor in breast cancer patients untreated for metastatic disease. The phase II study was designed following the Simon optimal-two stage method."

"Patients received epirubicin 25 mg/m(2) and paclitaxel 80 mg/m(2) every week, and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor on days 2 and 4 for 24 consecutive weeks in the absence of progression.
