Reports summarize social phobia in children research from University of Central Florida, Department of Psychology

Investigators publish new data in the report 'SET-C versus fluoxetine in the treatment of childhood social phobia.' In this recent report published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, researchers in the United States conducted a study "To determine the efficacy of fluoxetine, pill placebo, and Social Effectiveness Therapy for Children (SET-C) for children and adolescents with social phobia. Youths ages 7 to 17 were randomly assigned to one of the treatment conditions."
