Researchers from Emory University, Department of Psychology report recent findings in life sciences

Research findings, 'The relation of cortisol levels with hippocampus volumes under baseline and challenge conditions,' are discussed in a new report. According to recent research from the United States, "Several studies using animal models have revealed an inverse relation between gluco-corticoid levels and hippocampus volumes. This inverse relation has been interpreted as reflecting the role of the hippocampus in modulating glucocorticoid secretion, as well as the effect of glucocorticoids on the hippocampus."
