Data from C.A. Cleary et al provide new insights into macular degeneration therapy

Research findings, 'Intravitreal bevacizumab in the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration, 6- and 9-month results,' are discussed in a new report. In this recent study, researchers in Dublin, Ireland conducted a study "To evaluate 6-and 9-month follow-up data including the effect on vision and anatomic outcome in patients treated with intravitreal bevacizumab for neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Interventional consecutive retrospective case series."
