Recent studies from National Institute for Digestive Diseases add new data to colon cancer prevention

New investigation results, 'Nutritional factors and polyamine metabolism in colorectal cancer,' are detailed in a study published in Nutrition. According to recent research published in the journal Nutrition, "Colorectal cancers are a significant cause of mortality in Western societies. The progression of the disease from normal epithelium to the acquisition of the malignant phenotype is accompanied by several biochemical and genetic alterations."
