Investigators at Shandong University, Department of Medicine release new data on hypertension therapy

New investigation results, 'Effects of extended-release felodipine on endothelial vasoactive substances in patients with essential hypertension,' are detailed in a study published in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine. According to recent research from Jinan, People's Republic of China, "Endothelial dysfunction plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of essential hypertension (EH). This trial was undertaken to reveal the effects of extended-release felodipine on endothelial vasoactive substances in EH patients."
