Researchers from University of Pittsburgh, Medical Department provide details of new studies and findings in the area of life sciences

According to recent research from the United States, "FDG PET/CT is widely accepted in diagnosing and staging various malignancies. However. the usefulness of PET in detecting urothelial tumors has been disputed because of high physiologic FDG excretion into the urinary bladder. Various techniques like bladder irrigation and furosemide administration have been employed to improve the diagnostic yield of PET."
