Turku University, Department of Dermatology publishes research in dermatology

Fresh data on dermatology are presented in the report 'Sources of sensitization, cross-reactions, and occupational sensitization to topical anaesthetics among general dermatology patients.' According to recent research published in the journal Contact Dermatitis, "Contact sensitization to local anaesthetics is often from topical medicaments. Occupational sensitization to topical anaesthetics may occur in certain occupations."
