Findings from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey provide new insights into cardiology

Scientists discuss in 'SERCA inhibition limits the functional effects of cyclic GMP in both control and hypertrophic cardiac myocytes' new findings in cardiology. According to recent research from the United States, "The negative functional effects of cyclic GMP are controlled by the sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium-ATPase (SERCA). The effects of cyclic GMP are blunted in cardiac hypertrophy."
