Sinobiopharma Applies for Chinese Patent to Develop the Next Generation of Anti-Hypertension Compounds

Sinobiopharma, Inc. ("Sinobiopharma", or "the Company") (BULLETIN BOARD: SNBP) is pleased to announce that it has applied for a single Chinese patent for new drug compounds containing Perindopril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart attack in people with coronary artery disease. Sinobiopharma is the world's first manufacturer and marketer of Perindopril in capsule form. The Company's patent application covers the method of preparation and stability for new drug compounds containing Perindopril.
