New DNA research data have been reported by scientists at University of Science and Technology, Institute of Food

New research, 'Isoenzyme-specific up-regulation of glutathione transferase and aldo-keto reductase mRNA expression by dietary quercetin in rat liver,' is the subject of a report. According to a study from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, "The impact of quercetin on the mRNA expression of hepatic enzymes involved in drug metabolism was evaluated with a DNA microarray and real-time PCR. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed an experimental diet containing either 0, 2.5, 5, 10, or 20 g/kg of quercetin for 15 days."
