The struggle between parent and child starts at sundown. Bath: Check. Pajamas on: Check. Favorite bedtime book: Check. Brush teeth: Sigh. According to a 2006 report by the Dental Health Foundation, by the time children are in kindergarten, more than 50 percent already have had tooth decay.
