Thomson Joins Brooks Kushman; Strengthens Los Angeles Presence

To further strengthen its West Coast presence, Brooks Kushman P.C., a leading intellectual property (IP) and technology law firm, hired William E. Thomson Jr. as a partner. He will be based at the firm's L.A. office and will help expand the firm's California IP litigation and patent practice, particularly in the life sciences.

Most recently, Thomson was a partner at Hogan & Hartson LLP in L.A., where his practice covered a range of IP matters with principal emphasis on litigation, counseling and technology transfer in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical and computer technology arenas.
