Researchers from Kaiser Permanente publish new studies and findings in the area of coagulation

New research, 'Incidence and predictors of bleeding or thrombosis after polypectomy in patients receiving and not receiving anticoagulation therapy,' is the subject of a report. In this recent report published in the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, researchers in the United States conducted a study "To assess the effect of warfarin anticoagulation therapy (AC) on the incidence of colon bleeding after elective colonoscopy with polypectomy and to identify independent predictors of post-polypectomy colon bleeding. This was a retrospective cohort analysis."
