New Findings on Immune System Control of Eosinophils Presented

Magainin Pharmaceuticals Inc., Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, announced the presentation of preclinical data highlighting the important role of interleukin-9 (IL-9) in controlling eosinophils, one of the critical inflammatory cells involved in the asthmatic response, at the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) Meeting held in San Diego, California, during March 2000.
