Prophylactic Dotarizine Helps Reduce Headaches

Prophylactic oral therapy with dotarizine reduces frequency and duration of migraine headaches. In a paper presented at the 2000 Annual Meeting of American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, held March 14-18, 2000, in Los Angeles, California, S. Diamond, MD, and colleagues from the Diamond Headache Clinic, and six other headache clinics in the United States reported on their evaluation of the efficacy and safety of dotarizine (DTZ) as a prophylactic therapy for migraine headaches.
