Eptastigmine Improves Cognitive Performance and Global Functioning

In a recent study, researchers from Italy found eptastigmine improves cognitive performance and global functioning in mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients. "The study was designed as a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study," reported B.P. Imbimbo and colleagues. The study consisted of 349 outpatients in 26 Italian and American geriatric and neurological centers.
