Study Clarifies Definition of Anthracycline Resistance

A recent study identified various situations in which resistance to anthracycline-containing combination chemotherapy (ACCC) occurred in breast cancer patients, and found that after second-line treatment, some patients were also resistant to other cytotoxic drugs while others responded favorably.
