Operations for High Throughput Genomic Drug Discovery Begins

HTS Biosystems, Inc., St. Paul, Minnesota, has begun operations to pursue accelerated development of high throughput, cost-effective molecular detection systems for the rapidly growing pharmaceutical and genomics research markets.

The company has rights to proven technology and a prototype system from its majority shareholder, Quantech, Ltd. (QQQQ) that will enable it to commercialize its Flex CHIP Kinetic Analysis System in 2001.
