Chemoproteomics company expands management team

Serenex, Inc., a chemoproteomics-based drug discovery company, has added two experienced biopharmaceutical industry executives to its management team.

Ian Howes was appointed chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance and administration, and Anil Goyal, PhD, was named vice president of business development.

Howes joins Serenex from Paradigm Genetics, Inc., in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, where he held the position of chief financial officer.

Goyal was most recently senior manager of corporate development for Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
