Survey shows healthcare a top issue in 2004 election

As the 2004 election cycle begins in the U.S., voters expect candidates to address healthcare issues, according to a new national survey conducted by Public Opinion Strategies and Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research on behalf of the American Hospital Association (AHA).

The survey of more than 2,000 Americans found affordable healthcare has emerged as one of the country's top 3 concerns, following the economy and jobs, and terrorism and national security.

Details of the polling methods were not provided by the AHA in its press release on the survey results.
