Oncology company to raise $26M through sale of common stock

Cytogen Corporation (CYTO), a product-driven, oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company, announced that it has entered into purchase agreements for the sale of 2,570,000 shares of its common stock at $10.10 per share through a registered direct offering.

The transaction is expected to provide net proceeds of $24.0 million to Cytogen.

CIBC World Markets Corp. acted as lead placement agent, with JMP Securities, LLC, and ThinkEquity Partners, LLC, acting as coplacement agents for this transaction.
