Biotechnology company announces new senior VP, chief financial officer

Metaphore Pharmaceuticals, Inc., announced the appointment of Sandra Cartie to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company.

Ms. Cartie has held a broad range of financial, business development and strategic roles in the life sciences and healthcare industries. Most recently she was Chief Financial Officer at Amersham Biosciences.

Previously, she held several roles at Applera Corporation including Vice president, Strategic Initiatives and Vice president, Finance, Analytical Instrument Division, as well as several roles of increasing responsibility at Baxter International, ultimately serving as vice president,...
