Providers in Brazil following guidelines for management of HIV patients

Providers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are following national guidelines for the management of HIV-infected patients on antiretroviral therapy.

According to recent research from the United States and Brazil, "The objective of the paper was to compare provider practices in prescribing antiretroviral (ARV) drug regimens and use of laboratory monitoring at three health care facilities and to determine whether Brazilian national guidelines are being followed.
