Three oncology practices receive Clinical Trial Participation Award at meeting

Three practices in the US Oncology Network were awarded Clinical Trial Participation Awards at the 2005 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida. The practices are Kansas City Cancer Center, Oncology Associates of Cedar Rapids, and Texas Oncology-Presbyterian. The Clinical Trial Awards are based on nominations by each of the National Cancer Institute Cooperative Groups and the ASCO Clinical Practice Committee, which identified practices that enrolled the highest number of patients in phase 3 trials over a 3-year period.
