Study suggesting procaine as exerting neuroprotective properties published

Samaritan Pharmaceuticals Inc. (LIV) announced the journal of Pharmacology published a Samaritan Laboratories study suggesting procaine as exerting neuroprotective properties against Alzheimer disease.

Dr. Janet Greeson, CEO of Samaritan stated, "Samaritan's Alzheimer compounds are promising multitargeted drugs. The majority of the scientific community has mainly focused on only one mechanism of action; and despite major breakthroughs in understanding disease progression there hasn't been any major advances in Alzheimer drug development.
