Neuroscience research advances have been reported from the United States and Japan. Study 1: CD147 regulates protein complexes linked to Alzheimer disease. According to a study from the United States, "gamma-Secretase is a membrane protein complex that cleaves the beta-amyloid precursor protein (APP) within the transmembrane region, after prior processing by beta-secretase, producing amyloid beta-peptides A beta(40) and A beta(42).
