Research add new data to asthma therapy body of knowledge

New findings from Scotland, the the Netherlands and Italy describe advances in asthma therapy. Study 1: Inhaler choice does not significantly affect budesonide efficacy in asthma patients. "Bronchial hyperresponsiveness to adenosine monophosphate, an indirect measure of airway inflammation, is a sensitive marker of inhaled corticosteroid efficacy," scientists in Scotland noted.
