Formerly an affiliate of MedAssets, the regional, not-for-profit healthcare system joins more than 200 of the nation's hospital and healthcare systems that own Premier, Inc.
Anchored by the 117-bed Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland, a fast-growing suburb of Washington, DC, Civista Health estimates it will purchase about $10 million annually in supplies and services through Premier contracts.
