Infusion with patient-controlled analgesia pump improves vecuronium priming

Use of a patient controlled analgesia (PCA) pump for vecuronium infusion improves priming efficacy.

The "priming principle is implied to hasten intubation with the use of vecuronium," anesthesiologists in India explained. "Priming dose is usually injected by bolus, and certain side effects have been observed due to acute rise in plasma levels after bolus injection."
