Researchers describe findings in apoptosis studies

Apoptosis research advances have been reported from France, the United Kingdom and Germany. Study 1: According to recently published research from France, alcohol increases tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) and decreases nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappa B) to activate hepatic apoptosis in genetically obese mice. "Both obesity and alcohol can cause oxidative stress, cytokine induction, and steatohepatitis.
