Researchers' work adds to asthma body of knowledge

Asthma data are the focus of recent research from Japan, the United States and France. Study 1: Montelukast combined with short-acting beta2 agonists may provide effective treatment option in mild-to-moderate childhood asthma. "Asthma is a chronic inflammatory airway disease. Exhaled nitric oxide (eNO) is a marker reflecting airway inflammation," scientists in Japan report.
