LG Life Sciences receives European marketing authorization for human growth hormone

LG Life Sciences reported that its strategic development partner in Europe, Biopartners GmbH, has obtained European marketing authorization for globally developed biological product recombinant human growth hormone Valtropin; daily formulation.

Valtropin, which is similar to domestic trademarked Eutropin, is a recombinant product originally developed in Korea by LG Life Sciences in 1993 for treatment of GHD Children. Since its successful launch in Korea, it continues to rank as the top market share holder in the Korean domestic market, competing against multinational products.
