Scientists discuss in "Differential contributions of B7-1 and B7-2 to the development of murine experimental allergic conjunctivitis" new findings in allergies. "B7-1 and B7-2 are the co-stimulatory molecules that are involved in activation of T cells. We investigated whether B7-1 and B7-2 play a role in the development of T cell-mediated experimental allergic conjunctivitis (EC)," researchers in Japan report.
