BioMimetic Therapeutics Reports 2007 Second Quarter Results

BioMimetic Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: BMTI) reported its financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2007. For the three months ended June 30, 2007, the Company reported a net loss of $6.4 million or $(0.35) per share, compared to a net loss of $3.9 million, or $(0.42) per share, for the same period in 2006. For the six months ended June 30, 2007, the Company reported a net loss of $12.1 million or $(0.69) per share, compared to a net loss of $7.7 million, or $(1.41) per share, for the same period in 2006. The Company ended the second quarter in a strong financial position with $77.0 million of cash, cash equivalents and investments in marketable securities....
