Neurocrine Biosciences Reports Second Quarter 2008 Results

Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:NBIX) announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. For the second quarter of 2008, the Company reported a net loss of $21.0 million, or $(0.55) per share compared with a net loss of $26.4 million, or $(0.69) per share, for the same period in 2007. For the six months, the Company reported a net loss of $42.0 million, or $(1.10) per share, as compared to $52.1 million, or $(1.37) per share, for the same period last year.
