New life sciences research from Sun Yat-Sen University, Department of Dermatology discussed

A new study, 'Successful treatment for chromoblastomycosis caused by Fonsecaea monophora: a report of three cases in Guangdong, China,' is now available. According to recent research from Guangzhou, People's Republic of China, "Fonsecaea pedrosoi is the most prevalent aetiological agent of chromoblastomycosis. Fonsecaea monophora is a new species segregated from Fonsecaea pedrosoi."
