New pediatric in children findings from Kanazawa Medical University, Department of Pediatric Surgery described

New investigation results, 'Patent ductus arteriosus flow patterns in the treatment of congenital diaphragmatic hernia,' are detailed in a study published in Pediatrics International. "Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) mortality still remains high, due to lung hypoplasia and persistent pulmonary hypertension of the neonate (PPHN). Effective management of PPHN and time of operation are quite important to the improvement of CDH treatment," scientists writing in the journal Pediatrics International report.
