Report Summarizes Depression Study Findings from Catholic University of Korea, Department of Psychiatry

2011 JAN 21 -- New investigation results, 'TAAR6 variations possibly associated with antidepressant response and suicidal behavior,' are detailed in a study published in Psychiatry Research. "Trace amines are putative regulatory elements in the brain whose activity may be relevant to the pathophysiology of depressive episodes. TAAR6 is an orphan receptor probably associated with trace amines," investigators in Korea report.
